Home Builders Blitz

May 31-June 7, 2008 -

The Home Builders Blitz is a nationwide project where professional homebuilders construct Habitat for Humanity Homes. It’s open to all local and national builders who are willing to partner with Habitat for Humanity affiliates. The first Blitz was held in 2006 and resulted in 459 new Habitat homes in the U.S., providing homes for nearly 2,000 people. Over 1,000 professional homebuilders participated in the event. This year, the Home Builders Blitz will take place the week of May 31 to June 7. Habitat for Humanity hopes to increase builder participation to all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia.
