The Structures Congress is the premiere event for the structural engineering industry. This year's theme is "Crossing Borders," which focuses on the fact that many in the structural engineering industry cross over the borders between countries to conduct business. In keeping with this theme, the Congress takes place in Vancouver, Canada this year. A variety of sessions are planned covering practical design and focused structural engineering, research for practitioners, codes and standards, business and international engineering, analysis and computation, and state-of-the-art research.
