BuildIQ® Introduces Region-Specific Online Training for Production Homebuilders

New water management courses tackle industry’s top warranty issue

Pittsburgh, PA, September 12, 2007 — Today, BuildIQ®, the leading online educator in Best Practices in Homebuilding™, introduced a series of web-based courses to address the construction quality issue that affects one third of all new homes — water intrusion. BuildIQ collaborated with its sister company, IBACOS®, a construction quality and risk management services group, to incorporate homebuilding Best Practices® that have been proven in the field into each course in the Water Management Suite: Fundamentals, Roofs, Walls, Windows & Doors, Basements & Crawlspaces, and Slab-on-Grade Foundations. The Suite is available in seven regional versions. Other region-specific courses will be added to BuildIQ University's online training curriculum in early 2008.
